We are proud to announce our new referral program. When you refer your friends, you earn free hosting. It’s that easy! We’ll try to keep it simple, although there are a couple of general things to keep in mind:
- Your referrals need to stay hosted with IHS for at least 3 months
- Your referrals must be for a plan equal to or greater than your own (in other words, if you have a Personal plan, you must refer Personal or Small Business plans to qualify)
That’s it for the fine print, now here’s how it works:
If you are an Elements customer -
- With 3 Elements referrals, you earn 3 months of free hosting
- With 6 Elements referrals, you earn an entire year of free hosting
- With 2 Personal referrals, you earn 3 months of free hosting
- With 5 Personal referrals, you earn an entire year of free hosting
- With 1 Small Business referral, you earn 3 months of free hosting
- With 2 Small Business referrals, you earn an entire year of free hosting
- With 3 Small Business referrals, you earn 5 full years of hosting
If you are a Personal Customer -
- With 2 Personal referrals, you earn 3 months of free hosting
- With 5 Personal referrals, you earn an entire year of free hosting
- With 1 Small Business referral, you earn 3 months of free hosting
- With 2 Small Business referrals, you earn an entire year of free hosting
- With 5 Small Business referrals, you earn 5 full years of free hosting
If you are a Small Business Customer -
- With 2 Small Business referrals, you get 6 months of free hosting
- With 4 Small Business referrals, you get an entire year of free hosting
- With 10 Small Business referrals, you get free hosting for 5 years!

IHS Web Solutions now has a new support ticket system. You can submit a support ticket anytime by going to http://ihswebsolutions.com/support/. Tickets will be served in order of priority, so please make sure you accurately assign a priority to your ticket. Generally speaking, a service interruption or outage, or critical error on your site would be “urgent.” Errors preventing you from using your hosting control panel or updating your site would be “normal.” All other basic questions or requests for design changes, etc. would be considered “low.” Unlike our phone support, which is answered 7 days a week from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM Central Time, the support ticket system can be accessed at any time.

IHS Web Solutions has reinvested in new server equipment at LiquidWeb in Lansing, MI. This expansion helps to balance and spread the server load across geographical regions to reduce risk to our customers. The new server hostname is sunflower.ihswebserve.com, and its nameservers are ns1.barrettgraphics.net and ns2.barrettgraphics.net. We will be converting some of our Enterprise and Reseller customers to this new server cluster and will contact you if your account will be affected. We do not expect any downtime as a result of account migrations.
